Walt Disney World & Universal's Epic Universe · Orlando, Florida
Seth's 45th Birthday Weekend
Three Days. Six Worlds. One Birthday.
Friday, March 27
Hollywood Studios → EPCOT
Critical: Guardians of the Galaxy has no standby line. Everyone in your group must either purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass in the My Disney Experience app when you enter EPCOT, OR attempt the Virtual Queue at 7 AM day-of — which sells out in seconds on spring break days. Seth will secure passes for the group so we can all ride together.
Bonus: EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is running through May. Extra outdoor kitchen booths with seasonal food and cocktails appear all around World Showcase Lagoon — an added dimension to the evening beyond the 11 pavilions.
Drinking pacing tip. With fireworks at 9 PM and the World Showcase circuit starting at ~3 PM, you have a 6-hour window across 11 pavilions. Share drinks, don't race, and the America pavilion meal in the middle gives everyone a solid food anchor.
Terra Luna Resort — Friday Morning
8:15 AM
Full group lobby rally — Uber to Hollywood Studios
Coordinate Uber split for 20 people — you'll need 4–5 cars (SUVs hold 6). Request simultaneously. Spring break traffic on I-4 means budget 45–60 min to Hollywood Studios from International Drive. Arrive 9:15–9:30 AM.
~45–60 min ride

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge — Ride Order
~9:30 AM
Ride 1 first: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
The most ambitious ride Disney has ever built — a 20-minute immersive multi-system experience that blends dark ride, drop, and live-action storytelling. Do this immediately at park open before waits build. Standby at rope drop: 30–50 min. By midday: 75–120 min. Getting here early makes the wait very manageable.
Rope drop: ~30–50 min
~10:30 AM
Ride 2 next: Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
High-capacity simulator where everyone gets a role — pilot, gunner, or engineer. The mission outcome depends on how well you play. Fun and competitive for a group. Higher capacity than Rise, so waits move faster. Note: A Mandalorian & Grogu mission update is coming May 22 — you're riding the current Hondo Ohnaka version.
Standby: 45–75 min
Galaxy's Edge — Experience the Land
11:15 AM
Explore Black Spire Outpost
The full-scale Millennium Falcon outside Smugglers Run is a landmark photo moment for the group. Characters: Rey, Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and stormtroopers roam the outpost — unpredictable but worth watching for. Droid Depot and Savi's Workshop (custom lightsaber) require reservations if anyone in the group wants those experiences — book now if interested.
~11:30 AM
Blue Milk & Green Milk — Milk Stand
The most iconic drinks in Galaxy's Edge — and you don't need a reservation. The Milk Stand is an outdoor cart near the Millennium Falcon. Blue Milk (Bantha Milk): frozen blend of coconut and rice milk, berry, watermelon, and dragon fruit — bright, fruity, refreshing. Green Milk (Thala-Siren Milk): frozen coconut and rice milk with citrus-forward tropical flavors — slightly tangier. Both are non-alcoholic but completely on-brand for the land. Everyone gets one for the group photo.
Walk-up · No reservation
Early Lunch — Galaxy's Edge or Sunset Boulevard · ~12:00–1:00 PM
12:00 PM
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo — inside Galaxy's Edge
The sit-down quick service inside the land. Galactically-themed but actually good food. Fried chicken, rigatoni, pot roast, smoked kaadu ribs. Mobile order via My Disney Experience. Good for the group to split across the hangar bay seating. Best choice if staying in the immersive atmosphere.
Mobile order
12:00 PM
— OR — Near Tower of Terror: ABC Commissary / Rosie's All-American
If the group wants to position for Tower of Terror after lunch. ABC Commissary is a large indoor quick service (burgers, fish, plant-based options, mobile order). Rosie's is outdoor BBQ. Both are on Commissary Lane between Galaxy's Edge and Sunset Boulevard — conveniently located.
Mobile order
Optional — Tower of Terror · Sunset Boulevard
1:00 PM
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
A Disney classic: a haunted hotel elevator drops you unexpectedly multiple times. Genuine screams guaranteed. Spring break standby waits run 60–90 min — if any group members want it, get in line right after lunch so you're out by 2 PM for the Skyliner. Height: 40 inches.
Standby: 60–90 min
Depart Hollywood Studios — ~2:00 PM · Board the Skyliner
Arrive EPCOT International Gateway — ~2:30 PM
World Discovery — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
~2:45 PM
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
The best ride at Walt Disney World right now. Indoor roller coaster — starts into "deep space." Each vehicle plays a different classic pop song from the Nova Corps Awesome Mix. Completely smooth, exhilarating, and unlike anything else in any park. Seth will have Lightning Lane passes ready for the whole group so we can experience this together. You're arriving mid-afternoon when crowds have shifted to World Showcase — ideal timing.
Seth secures for all

World Showcase — Drinking Around the World · Start ~3:30 PM
Strategy
The circuit: Mexico → Norway (ride!) → China → Germany → Italy → America (meal) → Japan → Morocco → France → UK → Canada
~1.3 miles of walking. Budget 20–30 min per pavilion including drink time. You don't need to stop at every country — pick the ones that call you. Heavier meal at America (~5:30 PM) is your midpoint anchor and sobering moment before the final stretch. Fireworks viewing position at 8:30 PM — between the two gift shops at the World Showcase entrance, facing the lagoon. Best unobstructed view of Luminous.

Must eat: Jumbo soft pretzel with warm beer cheese dipping sauce from Sommerfest — one of the best snacks in all of EPCOT. Bratwurst on a pretzel roll is the full German moment. The model train display outside is surprisingly captivating.
🇮🇹 Italy
🍹 Alcoholic: Frozen Sangria Swirl — Pizza al Taglio window
Prosecco frozen white sangria swirled with frozen red sangria — a walk-up specialty. Also: Italian Margarita (frozen limoncello + tequila) at Gelateria Toscana, or a glass from Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar's 200+ Italian wines with an affogato.

🥤 Non-alcoholic: Frozen Lemonade — Fife & Drum Tavern
Fresh-squeezed frozen lemonade — the non-alcoholic version of the bourbon lemonade and genuinely delicious on its own. Large Mickey-shaped soft pretzel with cheese sauce is the perfect food anchor for the group.
Meal: Liberty Inn (QS — burgers, mac & cheese, fried chicken, mobile order). The American Adventure animatronic show runs ~30 min inside — great for resting feet while part of the group eats.
🇯🇵 Japan
🍹 Alcoholic: Violet Sake — Mitsukoshi Sake Bar
Sake, purple pear, lime — served over ice with a striking deep purple color. A cult EPCOT favorite. Also: Kirin Frozen Draft (beer topped with icy beer foam that insulates as you drink) from the Kabuki Cafe cart, or a Tokyo Sunset (Suntory whisky blend).
🥤 Non-alcoholic: Ramune Japanese Soda — Mitsukoshi Department Store
The classic Japanese marble-bottle soda in original, strawberry, or melon — satisfying and fun to open. Also: matcha soft serve cone or the Sake Mist shaved ice (available alcohol-free) in blood orange or coconut pineapple.
Quick service: Katsura Grill — sushi rolls, udon, teriyaki, mobile order. Genuinely good for a theme park.
🇲🇦 Morocco
🍹 Alcoholic: Moroccan Mule — Spice Road Table bar
Ginger, citrus, mint — light and refreshing with waterfront lagoon views. Also: the Mint Tea Cocktail (alcoholic version of Moroccan mint tea) or a glass of Casablanca beer at the bar inside Spice Road Table.
🥤 Non-alcoholic: Iced Moroccan Mint Tea — Spice Road Table or Tangierine Café
Authentic fresh mint tea served over ice — one of the most genuinely refreshing drinks in World Showcase. The Morocco pavilion is one of the most architecturally stunning — slow down here, the tilework and souks are worth the wander.
Quick service: Tangierine Café — falafel, shawarma, couscous, hummus. Mobile order. One of the healthiest and most satisfying QS options in EPCOT.
🇫🇷 France
🍹 Alcoholic: Grand Marnier Orange Slush — Les Vins des Chefs de France

Best QS in EPCOT: Les Halles — baguettes, pastries, croissants, quiches, croque monsieur. No mobile order but fast. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is in this pavilion if energy remains.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
🍹 Alcoholic: Pint at Rose & Crown Pub
Bass Ale, Boddingtons, Guinness, ciders, or Scotch — a proper British pub with an outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon. Classic EPCOT stop for a birthday group. Fish and chips, shepherd's pie, bangers and mash inside if anyone wants food.
🥤 Non-alcoholic: Elderflower Lemonade — Rose & Crown or outdoor cart
Subtle floral sweetness, very refreshing — a distinctly British non-alcoholic option. Also: Ribena blackcurrant juice or a traditional English Breakfast tea served properly with milk.
Quick service: Yorkshire County Fish Shop — fish and chips to go, outdoor window. A great pre-fireworks snack while walking toward Canada.
🇨🇦 Canada — Final stop before fireworks

The optimal viewing spot is at the top of World Showcase, between the two gift shops facing the lagoon — slightly elevated, centered, and designed as the intended focal point for the show. Arrive 30 min early to claim space for 20 people. Grab final drinks from Canada or a Flower & Garden booth on the walk over.

Ministry of Magic
Butterbeer Crêpe
Café L'air De la Sirène — shortbread cookie butter, Bavarian cream, Bièraubeurre drizzle, strawberries. The most viral food in the whole park and genuinely worth the hype. Share one between two — it is very sweet and very rich.
Frozen Butterbeer
From the outdoor cart — butterscotch cream soda blended with ice, topped with a thick cream froth. The Ministry of Magic version is exclusive to this land. The OG theme park experience.
Super Nintendo World
DK Crush Float
Bubbly Barrel — banana pineapple soft serve in a waffle bowl sitting on top of a souvenir Donkey Kong barrel of pineapple soda. Looks chaotic, tastes wild, worth every second. The souvenir barrel mug is a keeper.
Red Shell Calzone
Yoshi's Snack Island — Mario Kart–shaped calzone with Italian meat sauce and mozzarella, served in a little holder so you can walk and eat. The perfect mid-queue snack.
Dark Universe
Burning Cheddar Bites
Burning Blade Tavern — crispy fried jalapeño pimento cheddar bites with sriracha ranch. Nine per tray, $12. Described by multiple reviewers as the single best snack in the whole park. Shareable — if you can manage to share them.

How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk
⭐ Mac & Cheese Cones — Seth's pick
Hooligan's Grog & Gruel — creamy mac & cheese served in a crispy bread cone, topped with Goldfish crackers. Classic version is the move, but PB&J (Pork, Bacon & Jam) and Dragon Fire Chicken Spire are the spicy alternatives. The most talked-about snack in Berk and deeply, embarrassingly good.
Stoick's Ale
A honey and wildflower wheat beer brewed exclusively for Isle of Berk by Carib Brewery. Light, slightly sweet, low ABV — the ideal drink while wandering the Viking village.
